Patterned Pines

At my recent Christmas event,  we made a spinner card.  They are SOOOO much fun, especially for those of us who like to watch things roll back and forth (if you suffer from this undisclosed addiction, please raise your hand!)

Given that the Kraft, Elegant Eggplant and Always Artichoke supplies were laying out, that's what I went with. The pines  from Stampin' Up!'s Patterned Pines were inked separately with spots/markers and stamped repeatedly across the bottom of the Kraft cardstock.  The Word Window punch (punched several times in a row) was used to make a track.   Then, 2 pennies were stuck together with a dimensional.  The trick is trimming the dimensional a bit, so that is rolls freely and does not "hang up".  Thread the pennies on to the "track", so one penny is on the top, one on the bottom of the Kraft Cardstock.  The snowflake from Patterned Pines,  with an Artichoke Brad, was attached to a  scallop punched piece of Eggplant and added to the "spinner".  Add the ribbon and attach the kraft to the Artichoke cardstock mat with LOTS of dimensionals.  Layer on the Eggplant card and spin away.

It's getting cold outside, so go in and stamp!
