August Blog Hop!
I'm sure that you enjoyed Debbie's
Blog Hop projects. But then you have to agree
that the best pictures were of her Granddaughters!!
So cute.

These silly pumpkins are from the
Halloween Happiness single stamp set in the
Holiday Mini. It is easy to color this stamp
with your markers, so that you can coordinate
with your card base and accessories.

My second offering pairs my favorite new catalog
set (Gorgeous Grunge) with the Halloween Bash
set on page 21 of the Holiday Mini. The
Gorgeous Grunge set allows you to create your
own background or DSP look. Here is a grunge close-up.
Add a strip
of the Witches Brew Designer Washi Tape and you
are rockin Halloween. The Witches Brew Washi
reminds me of police caution tape (maybe because
we had some up in our neighborhood this weekend!
NO, I did not commit any crimes. We actually had
a rotted power pole lean and pull lines down. Part of our
street was blocked off with tape & cones
for a day, while repairs were completed.)

Colors: Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black
Other: Ovals Framelits Collection,
Candy Dots
My final card highlights the delightful new
"Expressions Thinlits Dies" on page 36 of
the Holiday Mini. It's hard to tell, but
I "cut" the word thank--ful apart,
to enable it to be bent around the leaves. Speaking of
leaves, the Autumn Accents look soooo real. They are
incredibly fun to color and use on projects.
Just draw veins with a stylus and then sponge.
Colors: So Saffron, Whisper White,
Pumpkin Pie, Always Artichoke
Other: Big Shot, Autumn Accents Bigz Die, Stylus,
Stampin' Pierce Mat, Woodgrain Embossing Folder,
Simply Pressed Clay, Buttons and Blossoms
Clay Mold, Sponges

Wow, Jackie - such amazing projects!! I love them all, but those leaves blew me away. I thought they were real, then wondered how you got fall leaves in August. Gorgeous!! Hope your elbows are better soon!!
I thought the leaves were real too! Great projects.
I liked the Epic Day DSP used for Halloween, then I loved the striking color choice and sketch you put together on the second Halloween card, but then my jaw dropped for that third card! That needs to be framed and hung on the wall. Maybe in an Early Espresso mat. Gorgeous!
Great cards, now I have to buy a lot more things thanks to your creations! I have to agree with the others about those beautiful leaves, they look who real.
Jackie. You make Halloween look good! And Autumn holidays even better. I absolutely love your Thankful card. Those leaves are amazing and the new Expressions Thinlits really kick the card up a knotch. This is going straight to the top of my to be CASE'd list. The Always Artichoke paper for the thankful word really adds to the colorful appeal of the card and reflects the colors in the leaves wonderfully. The whole card would be a great focal element for a shadow box.
