Embossed Gold Foil Flower Shop

I was in a mood for textures when I made this card.

First I embossed the background layer with the

Simply Scored with Diagonal Plate, creating a hashed pattern.

Then I took some Gold Foil (p 23 of Occasions)

and embossed it with one of the flowers from Flower Shop.

Cut it out with the Pansy Punch and layer on

1 1/4 Burlap Ribbon and you get a very organic look.

I used the "happy day" sentiment from the

Happy Day set (p 112).

I wanted to add black ribbon, but the 1/4 inch Taffeta Ribbon

has silver borders.  I ended up using my black marker

to color the edges black, yeilding a great, 
well balanced look.
