Welcome to our Watercooler Challenge #WCC17.
This is a Valentine Challenge.
My card is kind of an "off-beat" valentine,
as I went a bit vintage. I was feeling the Spring Flowers
Embossing Folder (p 19 in the Occasions Mini catalog)
a bit more than hearts for this project.

I used the Perfect Pennants set (p 16 of the main catty) paired with
the coordinating Banners Framelits to create the sentiments.

The background involved a combination of the
Spring Flowers EF and the Dictionary background stamp
(stamped AFTER the layer was run through the embossing folder).
I really like the look of the deeply embossed leaves and flowers,
that pop when they are sponged.
Thank you for looking at my challenge card.

Jackie, I am in love with the texture on this card.
Interesting technique for your card, Jackie! Thanks for keeping the watercooler challenges going while I'm on my break!!
Jackie, I love the way you've vintaged up this card. Stamping your embossed card with the dictionary stamp really gives it an old, faded effect that I love and will have to try myself. Great colours and sponging, too. Thanks for being part of the Watercooler Artists.
I love this, Jackie! I would never think to stamp after embossing, but it does make it look more "vintagey." (And you do vintage very well!!) Very pretty card!
I have such a hard time doing vintage so I love looking at what others do with it. The combinations on this card are great.
I'm a big vintage fan and I so get your card. It's awesome!. From the colour mix to the banners and sentiments you chose a perfect blend of accessories for this card. The vines and flowers in the embossing folder image really gives it that vintage feel. Not all valentines are covered with hearts, and your card demonstrates this so well. Thanks so much for sharing and Happy Valentine's day!
