WWC18 Sketch Challenge

Welcome to our 18th Watercooler Challenge!!
Today we are doing a sketch challenge,
which will be interpreted by the Watercooler Challenge
artists.  You are invited to add your version of this
card sketch via our Linky at the end of the challenge.
The winning guest will have their card posted on our site!

Our WCC18 sketch is all about a center panel and banners!
Here is my interpretation.

The Love is Kindness stamp is one of my favorite in the
new Occasions catalog (p 32).
The sentiment can be used, or omitted, to enable you to
add the sentiment of your choice.

I decided that rather than
a circle shape depicted on the panel, I wanted a
diamond, cut out with the Squares Collection Framelits.

My favorite DSP is the Back to Black, which enables
creation of masculine or feminine projects with striking contrast.

I tried an experiment with the coloring of this image.
I used white embossing powder on So Saffron card stock,
and then colored the flowers with Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities.
They really worked great on the colored card stock,
blending easily.

Thank you for stopping by.
Please remember to check out the rest of
the Watercooler Challenge entries!

Beautiful card, Jackie! I love how you used a square rather than the circle. Thanks for a great sketch for our challenge!

Jackie, I'm so happy that you're our featured Watercooler Artist. Your sketch was great as is evident by all the wonderful cards that it has inspired.

I love that you changed the circle out for a diamond in your card. You show the flexibility of the sketch. The colours, especially with the heat embossed white tulip image, are wonderful. A very striking choice.

Fabulous card to lead off the challenge Miss Jackie. Very striking and would also fit in well for Chinese New Year. Loved your sketch too and I had a quiet giggle that pretty much all of us stuck with circles and you struck out boldly with tilted squares!
