Stamp Off Sunshine Sayings Textures

Greetings, from your Stamp Off team, consisting of
Susan, Buffy and myself.  We love bringing you a Friday
slice of Stampin' Up! creativity.
Today, we are presenting a Textures Challenge.
This is an opportunity to pull out those sponges, Textured
Embossing Folders and tools that maximize texture
on your project.
I am a fan of the Sunshine Sayings set on page 97,
with coordinating Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies (p 194),
specifically because of the degree of texture that can
be achieved, using both stamps and thinlits.  I did "cheat" and use the Timeless Textures set on page 120 to add still more texture to this card.  I clear embossed the flowers from Sunshine Sayings, and then did some sponging.  By the time I was done stamping and sponging everything, my fingers were an inky mess, but I was satisfied with the card textures.
I used my very favorite color combination; Very Vanilla,
Peekaboo Peach, Flirty Flamingo and Watermelon Wonder
(all In-Colors).  I added a layer of Very Vanilla
behind the sponged "love" die cut, to create a bit more
texture before mounting it on a piece of 5/8" Burlap Ribbon.
This is still a nice, "flat" card that will go through the
postal system with little difficulty.
Now that you've seen my offering, please hop on over
to check out what Buffy and Susan have done with
this Stamp Off textures challenge!

I love all your textures, Jackie! Looking at your card, I kept thinking, "Oh, yeah - I wanted to sponge. I forgot the ribbon. Oooooooh! Look at that die-cut!" The colors are beautiful; I love that combination. Great card!

Your card is gorgeous, Jackie. Next time we do anything with textures, I am CASEing it!
