Yippee Skippee, it's another play date with
Susan and Buffy. I so enjoy our Fridays together,
where we challenge one another to use SU product.
This week, we are to use a new Framelit or Thinlit
on our challenge project. Easy Peasy because the new
Stampin' Up! products include some outstanding
new Framelits and Thinlits!!
the Seasonal Layers Thinlits on page 216. Maybe it's
old age, but that adirondack chair, with lovely
branch and flowers all speak to me. First, I sponged color on to Glossy White Cardstock (p 194). I love this product because sponging can be a frustrating technique,
but colors blend easily on Glossy paper.
I stamped textures on to my background layer,
with the Timeless Textures set on page 154.
Images from Seasonal Layers were run through the Big Shot, sponged, and glued down. I didn't feel the need to add
a sentiment to the front of the card, as it would disrupt
the restful nature of the card front.

Beautiful card, Jackie. I love the colors with the flowers and chair. It's the perfect scene for a relaxing summer night.
What a gorgeous, peaceful card, Jackie! I love the sponging effect you did; it's like relaxing outside at twilight, listening to the birds get ready for bed... :)
