Sweet Strawberry with Strawberry Builder Punch

So this post requires some explanation.  A description of
a plot, perpetrated by my friends and Stamp Off Challenge
buddies Buffy and Susan.   I was trying to decide if I would
purchase the Gilded Leafing Embellishment on page 33,
of the upcoming Mini Catalog, and expressed reluctance.
Susan and Buffy launched into
an elaborate plot, sending cards and samples of the
Gilded Leafing in an effort to convince me that my
thinking was in error.  Basically, they got very, very pushy.
So I ordered the Gilded Leafing, but since it has not arrived
yet, have been using what Buffy sent (thank you!)
The Gilded Leafing works with Heat and Stick Powder
(page 33) and the VersaMark ink.  It looks different from
embossing, because it has that thick broken, shiny,
foil-like appearance.

This is a new set, available in the Jan-June 2021 Mini Catalog.
The Sweet Strawberry Stamp set on page 44 can be bundled
with the coordinating Strawberry Builder Punch, which
cuts out the berries, stem, a flower and leaf.  It is very
handy to be able to use this punch for many of the
stamped elements. As you can see, using Gilded Leafing
with the outline strawberry stamp really makes those
berries shine.

The background paper is my favorite In Good Taste DSP
on page 148.  It lends that basket feeling.  I used a die from
the Potted Succulents Dies (page 39), to cut out the sentiment.
I highly recommend all of these products.  They are fun
to use and the Gilded Leafing brightens up a project.

I bet you didn't realize you have such evil friends! We aren't really evil. We just thought you were crazy for not wanting the leafing! Hahaha. It looks great on this card! You're welcome!

I LOVE this card and the way you used the leafing. I'm definitely CASEing that idea (because I just ordered the Strawberry bundle...). Glad you ordered the leafing, and I hope you have as much fun with it as we do!

I had such a good laugh, reading about your 'enabling' friends *wink*! Well, good friends have to share the good stuff, right? Your card turned out beautifully, Jackie :)
