Meadow Pattern Party

This is another card, featuring the Pattern Party DSP,
on page 171.  The flower was created with the Meadow dies
on page 160, and framed with the Ornate Layers Dies (page 164).
I like the combination of yellow and black, because it
creates such vibrancy.   Wondering if it is too bright
to be a "thinking of you" card?

I don't think it is too bright for a thinking of you card. Thinking of you cards are not only for sympathy or sickness. They can also be used to just send someone a card to let them know you are thinking of them for no reason at all. I love how you made the shadow behind the flower.

Very pretty, Jackie! I don't think it's too bright. The brightness is balanced with the darker layer, so it could be a sympathy card, but it's perfect just to let someone know he/she is on your mind. I didn't even notice the shadow until I read Susan's comment. Nice touch!!

You really made that bold pattern stripe work! The shadow under the die cut is perfect - your layout is brilliant!
