Sentimental Bike

I thought that I'd give you a break from "Dress Up 

designer dresses a la Jackie".  Don't worry, there

are more to come.  This card is all SAB (Sale-A-Bration)!

The card above uses the bike from the

Feeling Sentimental set, and

Sycamore Street DSP banners. 

I always use the Full Heart Punch to create the

ends of the banners, so that I don't get cranky

about their appearance when I cut by hand.

The bike was stamped in Rich Razzleberry

and Island Indigo Ruffled ribbon was used

as an accent.     

Dress Up with Apothecary Art Framelit

Well, the Dress Up Framelit series will continue!

I can't stop creating mini designer dresses.

This project uses the Twitterpated DSP for the dress,

a different pattern for the background layer and 

Riding Hood Red card stock for the jacket.

To make the jacket,  cut 2 pieces/copies
of the dress, in a color that coordinates with the base.
The picture below shows how I positioned the 
Apothecary Art Framelit to produce the 
the jacket front.

  
"Trim" 2 jacket fronts with the Apothecary Art framelit
 positioned as shown (reverse framelit position for the 
right jacket side).  Glue them together
and use the Adorning Accents Border Edgelit
to trim the bottom.  Adhere the jacket to the
dress, accent with Rhinestone buttons and your
dress is complete.

The sentiment is from Ciao Baby, punched out with
the SAB Petite Curly Label Punch.
the Marina Mist card base was embossed with
the Framed Tulips Folder and the card was assembled.

attracting fishy attention.

I decided that one more phone booth

Telephone Booth with Flourish

I can't think of anything more fun than sending

cards with the Dr Who phone booth.  I decided to add

a flourish, to fancy it up a bit!

This project uses several new accessories from

the Spring Mini 2013, including the Paper Doilies

on page 5, and the Soda Pop Tops on page 24.

This is a fairly monochromatic card, with colors

that include Lavender Lace, Basic Gray and Whisper White.
