Woven From the Heart

There is a bit of SAB in this card, 

in the form of DSP (Designer Series Paper), 

but what I'm demonstrating is the woven concept.

In this example, 1/2 inch slits are woven with 

1 inch strips of DSP.

I used a marker to omit a portion of the

From the Heart stamp and then used the 

Apothecary Accents Framelit to cut this image

and the layer beneath.  I added ribbon and rhinestone

to complete the project.      

Last of SAB

We had a little snow fall last night, about 4 inches.

It's real pretty if you don't have to go out in it!

I know that SAB is over, but I had one card that

I neglected to post.   The Feeling Sentimental set

was one of my 2 favorite SAB sets (and Ciao Baby)!

I also like to make a 3x6 card periodically.

This set uses Whisper White, Pool Party and Soft Suede.

Lacy and Lovely Top Note

I suspect that you are probably getting tired

of my use of this set.  It is just so easy and elegant to

create with!

In this example, the images were stamped on 

Window Sheets and adhered to Glimmer Paper 

with Crystal Effects.  The Crystal Effects is clear

and holds really well, so is the perfect adhesive for the job.

Note: I heated the edges of the ribbon to seal and 
curl it.

single stamps available for purchase.  The 

Ears To You set is one of them. This set is so 
darn cute.  In this example,

I've used a marker (omitting) to position 
the sentiment at the bottom

of the card, while omitting one bunny in the focal image.

I wanted to include a Dress Up Framelit sample because
 this product is so versatile.  You might also note that

I used the sentiment from "Ears To You" on
this project, too. I used a marker to omit the word "Ears".

The image above shows how I created the vest to go

with the dress cut out.  I cut out 2 Basic Gray dresses and

then positioned the Labels Collection Framelit as shown.

The positioning was flipped for the opposite side of the vest. 

As shown in the photo, make sure that you 1) don't cut off

the shoulder/sleeve portion of the dress and 

2) leave the "bumps" at the bottom of the framelit so that 

you end up with a vest with an angled bottom edge.  I sponged

around the vest edges, to further highlight that layer.
