SIP Challenge
Shelli Gardner, CoFounder and CEO of Stampin' Up! offers monthly challenges, on her website SoShelli. The August challenge is titled SIP (you are limited to Stamp, Ink and Paper, no punches or embellishments).
Above is my submission, a Christmas card made with the Snow Swirled set. The card base is Rich Razzleberry, with layers of Taken with Teal and Kraft. Creamy Caramel, Rich Razzleberry and Taken with Teal inks were used for snowflakes, sentiment and sponging.
The Taken with Teal faux ribbon was made by breaking the fibers in a strip of cardstock (pulling it against the edge of a table) and then rubbing ink on it. Small portions were doubled back and the strip was attached to Sticky Strip. Tombo Multi-Purpose adhesive was also used to glue the "loops" down flat.
Have a great Tuesday.
