This week our challenge is to present a project
that uses the new Stampin' Up! Blendabilities.
For this challenge, I wanted to create a card that could be
used for a masculine or feminine recipient. Kind Koala (p 113)
is the perfect image. I also like the Fabulous Four (p 13)
set of sentiments, because they are large images that
fit nicely on a card! Maybe it's just that I'm getting older
and like to be able to read sentiments easily?!
I colored the koala with a "base coat" of Blush from the
Blendabilities Skin Tone Assortment (p 212), so
that the koala would take on a lighter tone. Then I
added layers from the Crumb Cake Blendabilities Set.
I punched a 1 3/4 circle in a piece of Old Olive card stock,
dry embossed with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.
The Koala was mounted behind the opening so that the
flower image was omitted. That enabled me to add the
balloon, punched from a 1 1/4 inch circle punch and
the Owl Builder Punch.
Now pop on over to the WaterCooler Challenge site to
check out the other ideas.

thank you for joining the challenge again, Jackie and for being a big part of why the challenge blog exists!! I love the Koala Bear...
This is so cute, Jackie. I love how you layered different sets of markers for the kola bear.
Hi Jackie, what a cute card! That Koala looks 3-D the way you've blended your colours.
