July Watercooler Blog Hop

http://wackywatercoolerstamping.blogspot.ca/2015/07/the-wacky-watercooler-blog-hop-presents_16.html

Welcome!!
This is our July Wacky Watercooler Blog Hop.
Our task is to offer 3 projects:
Christmas
A Catalog CASE (copy and share everything)
and a project featuring a punch.

You've likely arrived from viewing Marie's lovely projects.
If not, feel free to click here to enjoy them.

My first project is a Christmas card, featuring the "Every Blessing"
set on page 70.  The colors are Soft Sky and Blackberry Bliss.
I added the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper "Joy" framelit
from the Wonderful Wreath Framelits set on page 173.
I cut out the focal image with the Circles Framelits.
I wanted to add yet more sparkle, so coated the focal image
with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder.

This is the Catalog Sample that I based my CASE on.

I really liked the belly band on the box on page 65.
The scallop and bow shapes really caught my eye,
so I used it as the basis for my Catty CASE.
The Blow Builder Punch on page 167,
makes a project look really special.   This project is kind of a
gift card or note holder, at almost full card size.

I started out using pennants
similar to the sample on page 65, but the project morphed to
concentric circles with the sentiment from "All About Sugar"
on page 61,  punched out with the new Washi Tape punch
(page 166).  The Timeless Elegance DSP on page 143
was colored with Blackberry Bliss ink and a blender pen.

The envelop is a 7 3/4 inch square. Each side is scored
at 2 inches.  The top and bottom are scored at 1 1/4 inch.
I embossed the envelope with the Boho Chic Textured
Embossing Folder on page 174.

My final project is the Punch part of the challenge.
For this punched opening, I used one of the framelits from
the Circle Card Thinlits on page 171.  I ran it through
the Big Shot twice, first going in one direction,
and then I flipped it 90 degrees, overlapping the previous
cut and ran it through again, creating kind of a diamond
shaped opening. The sentiment comes from Work of Art
(page 118).  I love the Vintage Leaves set (p 88)
paired with the Leaflets Framelits on page 172.  This combination
allows for effortless fall (or any season!) projects.

Thank you for taking a look at my projects.  Now
please hop along to enjoy Penny's wonderful projects,
or over to the Wacky Watercooler challenge home page.

Beautiful projects, Jackie! I love them all - but using the circle thinlit card framelit (follow that one!) twice is GENIUS! Love that Vintage Leaves card!

I love your non-traditional colours on the Every Blessing card, Jackie. Thanks for the reminder about how cute the bows are, made with the Bow Builder punch - I need to use mine more often!

Jackie your projects are simply beautiful. I love the colour mix and glimmer of your first card. It's so beautiful and rich looking in the picture, I imagine it's stunning in real life. Great CASE project. I really like the BoHo Chic embossing on the folder and the belly band. Your punch project is also beautiful. Simply a great fall card. Thanks for sharing.
