Watercolor Trio Speidel CASE

I realized that I have been posting a lot of Halloween and Christmas projects,
reflecting the most recent SU boxes that have landed on my porch.
However, the Summer Mini is still "good", including the
delightful set Watercolor Trio.  This card is a CASE of a
card my Pam Speidel.  Hers included lots of sewing.  Mine obviously does not.

Set:  Watercolor Trio

Colors:  Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron, Marina Mist

Accessories:  Big Shot Scallop Square, Big Shot Embossing Folder,
Big Shot Trims Die, Marina Mist 5/8 inch Grograin Ribbon,
Soft Subtles Paper Pack, 1 3/8 Circle Punch and PEARLS!

I hope you are having a great Sunday.

Watercolor Trio Oval All

This card combines Summer Mini products with new catty colors
and the upcoming Big Shot Vintage Wallpaper Embossing folder.

The Colors are Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi and Tangerine Tango.
The focal image from Watercolor Trio was colored with markers,
as was the sentiment from the Oval All set.

The medium oval punch and scallop oval punch were used to
mount the sentiment and take a "bite" out of the focal image.
The rest was adhesive!

Elements of Style Cameo Celery

Ok, so there are some retiring colors that I will miss.
Cameo Coral is one of them.  This combination is Cameo Coral
With Certainly Celery and Celery Satin Ribbon.
Cameo Coral also looks stunning with Taken with Teal,
which is also retiring.

Additionally, I am kind of fixated on the Elements of Style
set from the Summer Mini.  It can be colored with markers, as in
this example, or you can stamp it with permanent ink and then
color the images in with blender pen or aqua painter.

This was a quick card because I cut the Whisper White
card stock with the Big Shot Top Note die and then
stamped the image that had been colored with markers...
focal point DONE!

Add the sentiment from Fresh Cuts, stamp the Cameo Coral
card base and you've got a very quick and pretty card.

Elements in New Colors

This card uses 4 of the new colors...  Pacific Point, Cherry Cobbler,
Espresso and Cajun Craze with the Elements of Style Summer Mini Set.
This is actually a CASE of a graduation card in the Summer Mini!

If you need stamping inspiration, it often helps to look at
samples in your minis or catalog.

I hope that you enjoy it.

Arpicot Teal Watercolor Trio

This is another Watercolor Trio (Summer Mini) card.
The colors for this card are Apricot Appeal and Taken With Teal.
I used markers to ink up the images and then stamped
on Whisper White.  I then ran both pieces through the Big Shot
Finial Press embossing folder and mounted on Taken with Teal

The card base is Apricot, with an Apricot ribbon.

I hope that you had a great Memorial Day.

On Board Briefcase Scrapbook

The Summer Mini features several On Board chipboard products,
including a large cog and the Briefcase displayed above (page 23).
This chipboard is easy to ink. In the sample above, I inked the cover
with craft Rose Red craft ink and while it was still wet, added Glassy Glaze
Embossing Power.  Before embossing, I dragged through the Glassy Glaze
with a stylus, removing some of the EP.  Then I heat embossed. This technique
yields a faux leather look.  The scrapbook is tied closed with wide ribbon.

Inside, I used Modern DP and Bermuda Bay cardstock.
Pages were stamped with the Elements of Style set on page 12-13 of the mini.
A Big Shot 2 tags tag was added to one of the DP pockets.

Smooch Presto DP 2 Tag

I CASED this treat container from someone,
but sadly, their name was not on the project.

This is a 2-tag container made with textured Bermuda Bay
card stock.  The Crushed Curry panel is brayered Presto Patterns
(Specialty paper on page 15 of the Summer Mini).  Elements of Style,
from the Summer Mini was used for the sentiment.  Both the
Presto DP and sentiment were sprayed with Gold Glow Smooch Spritz.
Crushed Curry Grosgrain, wrapped with an Ice Circle Brad, was
tied to the top of the treat container.

Bella Bleu Watercolor Trio

Sorry about another delay in posts.  I underwent a little "surgical procedure"
so have been spending less time on the computer lately.

This is the Watercolor Trio set from page 16 of the Summer Mini.
It is such a  pretty set, and lends itself to fall, summer or spring themes.
If you use your markers, you can create some lovely color combinations.

The background paper is Bella Bleu, with a bit of Kraft taffeta ribbon.
The sentiment is part of this set and fits neatly in the oval punch.

These colors; Not Quite Navy, Always Artichoke and Kraft
will be continuing in the new catalog, which will be released July1.
Please be aware, the retiring card stock is selling fast and quantities are not
expected to last.  Let me know if you want to "stock up" on some of the
retiring card stock!

Watercolor Trio Butterfly

This card uses several products from the newly released Summer Mini.

The butterfly (Big Shot Beautiful Butterflies Die)  is stamped
with the Watercolor Trio stamp set on page 16.  I used retiring colors,
including Green Galore, Lavender Lace and Lovely Lilac.

The other new product is the DELIGHTFUL Square Lattice
Big Shot embossing folder on page 24.  It yields 2 different patterns,
depending on which side of the card stock you decide to use.  In
this case, I rubbed ink on the textured cardstock, to emphasize
the pattern.

Summer Mini Motorcycle

Sorry I've been quiet. I was prepping for a little medical procedure, that I had
yesterday.   It's all good, just have to remember follow-up guidelines.

So, THE NEW SUMMER MINI is here!!   There are a number of items
that I enjoy in this Mini, but I had to start with this motorcycle card.
My sister drives a Harley, so I had to order this stamp.  I plan to
use it to make her a set of cards.

The card colors are Ruby Red, Close to Cocoa (both retiring)
and Basic Black.  It is a joy fold card, which I will be demonstrating
at shows.

The Close to Cocoa layers were run thru the NEW Square Lattice
Big Shot embossing folder.  This embossing folder has 2 different
"looks", depending on which side you use.

Nouveau Chic with Elements of Style

Sorry I've been quiet.  Just preoccupied with some events.

This is a fun color combination, based on the Nouveau Chic DP (Designer Paper Series)
on page 160 of the catty.  This DP consists of Apricot Appeal, Basic Gray and
Sage Shadow.   The stamps used are from the Summer Mini
Elements of Style Set.  Be sure to check out products that
will retire in July, including this DP and the Sage Shadow
and Apricot card stocks.
