Pickletree CASE Using Elements of Style

PickleTree, A.K.A  Amy Sheffer is one of my favorite stamping artists.
This is a CASE (Copy and Steal Everything) of one of her beautiful projects.

This card uses the Elements of Style set from the Summer Mini
(and new SU 2010-2011 Catty) and several new cardstock colors,
including Early Espresso, Baja Breeze and Wild Wasabi.  Vanilla
cardstock and Taffeta ribbon area also part of this card.

Awash Perfect Punches

Sorry that I haven't been posting. I've been making cards, but
just haven't been posting them.  I'm tooo mesmerized by new product
to do "mundane tasks" like messing with my blog!

Awash with Flowers is one of my favorite returning sets!  The oval
sentiment is made with a new catty set, Perfect Punches.
The colors in this card include 2 new ones, Cherry Cobbler and
Early Espresso, with several layers cut
with the Big Shot Top Note die.  Kraft (new name = Crumb Cake) cardstock
and taffeta ribbon were also used.

The spritzer and Cherry Cobbler marker were used to add
"splotches" around the flowers.

Watercolor Trio Oval All

This card combines Summer Mini products with new catty colors
and the upcoming Big Shot Vintage Wallpaper Embossing folder.

The Colors are Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi and Tangerine Tango.
The focal image from Watercolor Trio was colored with markers,
as was the sentiment from the Oval All set.

The medium oval punch and scallop oval punch were used to
mount the sentiment and take a "bite" out of the focal image.
The rest was adhesive!

Elements of Style Cameo Celery

Ok, so there are some retiring colors that I will miss.
Cameo Coral is one of them.  This combination is Cameo Coral
With Certainly Celery and Celery Satin Ribbon.
Cameo Coral also looks stunning with Taken with Teal,
which is also retiring.

Additionally, I am kind of fixated on the Elements of Style
set from the Summer Mini.  It can be colored with markers, as in
this example, or you can stamp it with permanent ink and then
color the images in with blender pen or aqua painter.

This was a quick card because I cut the Whisper White
card stock with the Big Shot Top Note die and then
stamped the image that had been colored with markers...
focal point DONE!

Add the sentiment from Fresh Cuts, stamp the Cameo Coral
card base and you've got a very quick and pretty card.

CCMC101 New Catalog Sneak Peak

This card is an entry in sketch challenge CCMC101 over on

It is also a SNEAK PEAK OF NEW SU 2010-2011 PRODUCTS!!

This is the new set, Friends Never Fade, featuring 2 of the new
colors, Cajun  Craze and Cherry Cobbler.  They are YUMMY!!
The new colors are paired with Old Olive and More Mustard.

AND CHECK OUT the embossing folder used on EVERY bit
of the cardstock on this card.  It is the NEW Vintage Wallpaper
Big Shot Embossing folder.  It is so pretty!

The focal image is mounted on the new 2 3/8 inch scallop punch.
This punch provides a beautiful layer for images
punched out with the 1 3/4 inch circle punch, so that you can
"fancy up" those larger images.

The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set and cut out
with the word window punch.  Add some Satin Old Olive
ribbon and you're good to go!

Elements in New Colors

This card uses 4 of the new colors...  Pacific Point, Cherry Cobbler,
Espresso and Cajun Craze with the Elements of Style Summer Mini Set.
This is actually a CASE of a graduation card in the Summer Mini!

If you need stamping inspiration, it often helps to look at
samples in your minis or catalog.

I hope that you enjoy it.
