Sweetest Thing with Jar of Sweets

Sweetest Thing, with the coordinating Jar of Sweets
Framelits Dies (Occasions page 15) is a darling set.
Who can resist jars of candy, with great sentiments?
I used the Brights Designer Series Paper Pack (p 191)
as a layer behind the candy jar.   The entire card front
was run through the Swirls and Curls Textured Impressions
Embossing Folder from the Holiday Mini Catalog.

So Hoppy Together

These frogs from So Hoppy Together (SAB page 13)
make me smile every time I look at them.  They work so
well with sentiments from any set.    In this example,
I stamped with Memento ink and colored the image with
Stampin' Blends.  Easy as pie!

Well Written Framelits Dies

When working on Stamp Off Challenges (previous post),
I sometimes make several cards to get to the final sample
that I want to post.   This was the first sample that
I designed, using the color combination of Blackberry Bliss,
Mango Melody and Smoky Slate.
It's hard to tell, but the background Blackberry Bliss
layer was run through the Suble Textured Impressions
Embossing Folder.

I used three sets of Occasions Framelits Dies:
Well Written (page 27) and
Doily Builder Thinlits (page 47) and
Rectangle Stitched Framelits (page 28).

This is a quick, easy card that still looks "fancy"
because of the wonderful Stampin' Up!
 thinlits and framelits!

Dear Doily & Well Written with Dandelion Wishes

Yippee Skippee, it's another Friday Stamp Off Challenge.
Today, Susan, Buffy and I are doing a color challenge.
The colors are Blackberry Bliss, Mango Melody and
Smoky Slate.  I think that this is a great color combo
so check our samples out!

I'm sorry that my picture is so dark.  We've had many a
cloudy day, so it's hard to harness enough light for a
good picture.

As I mentioned Wednesday, I LOVE the Dear Doily
Bundle on page 47 of the Occasions catalog.  You can
just scoop up those framelits and go to town. In this example,
I created the "sun".   The other shapes come from Well
Written Framelits dies on Occasions page 27.  It is so
easy to scatter and layers these lovely images.
Dandelion Wishes, on page 118 of the annual catalog
is a great go-to set for sentiments.  I layered everything
on a piece of Whisper White, run through the Sublte
Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on page 223.

Thank you for stopping by, and now please click
on to see what Buffy and Susan have done with
this color challenge!

Dear Doily with SAB FREE Botanical Butterfly DSP

This is a really quick card, given the FREE Botanical
Butterfly DSP (SAB page 9) and Free but unavailable
(til March) Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack (SAB page 7).
The Botanical Butterfly enables you to create
LOTS of cards, by just adding your sentiment.
The sentiment and framelits come from the Dear Doily
Bundle on page 47.  I must say, I love this bundle so
much that I keep going back for more!

Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies

The Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies, on Occasions page 13,
are an beautiful example of how you can run one or
two dies through your Big Shot, and have yourself
a card!  They layer over each other, so that your
highlights are taken care of.  This set of dies looks
really amazing when foil is used.
In this example, I used my favorite color combination:
Poppy Parade and Grapefruit Grove.

This set of dies coordinates with the Beauty Abounds
cling stamp set.  As with many of the bundles,
you can use components together, or separately.
