Birds and Branches

Birds and Branches (page 120) is one of my favorite

new catty sets.  I am very particular about my birds,

because so many look like "angry birds" to me.  
These are really cute.  The two step stamping offers

lots of combinations, that increase the depth of the bird image,
so that it looks very realistic.

The Birds and More dies offer so many different options
for use with or without the stamp set.  

I added a strip of DSP from the new In Good Taste
pack on page 148.  I love this set of wood and tile looking,
photo realistic pages.  The sentiment comes from
Grace's Garden on page 86.

Under My Umbrella

Today is one that Stampin' Up! demonstrators look forward

to!  It is the first day of the new 2020-21 catalog.  Under My

Umbrella, on page 20, is one of the sets from the last 

Mini catalog that has made it into the new catty.

This set pairs with the Build an Umbrella punch.

They really are a very pretty combination.

Sadly, I've had little time to stamp, because of my job,

so I was not prepared with a brand new set.  On Friday,

I will correct that situation!

Over The Moon

This week marks the shift from the 2019-20 Stampin' Up!

annual catalog, to the new 2020-21 catalog.  This is where

we say goodby to sets and products that have given

us great stamping pleasure.  Over the Moon makes me

smile, because of the cute cow poses and sentiments.  

I also love the Designer Series Papers featuring 

the gingham print.  Both will be retiring.

Stamp Off Birds and Branches with Birds and More Dies

It's Stamp Off challenge Friday, with Susan, Buffy

and I.  I'm hoping that you had a wonderful Memorial Day.

It sure has warmed up here in Ohio!

This week, we have a color challenge, starring 

Mossy Meadow, Pool Party and Crumb Cake.

I love this color combination, but was not sure how 

I would use it for this two step stamping

bird from the new (Sneak Peak) Birds and Branches set (p120).

The Pool Party and Mossy Meadow ended up being

the perfect combo!  I used the Birds and More dies (p 174)

to cut out the bird and branches.  The sentiment comes from

the returning Waterfront set (p 129).  It fit perfectly in that

beautiful window.

Peaceful Poppies with Honey Bee

Here are more products that I will miss.  I LOVE the 

Peaceful Poppies DSP, with those rich colors.  The

realistic looking bees from the Honey Bee set were

perfect for pairing with many sets and papers.

This is a joy fold card, so the sentiment flap is

fastened under the bees.

I am happy to say that the So Sentimental Set,

with coordinating Stitched So Sweetly dies are moving

forward into the new catalog (page 179)

Tropical Chic

I had to post one more Tropical Chic card.  Petal Pink 

and Soft Sea Foam make such a pretty combination.

I will miss this bundle.  It is very unique!

People really appreciate cards that make them wonder

how it was made.
