Build A Bear Bigz Die

Sorry for my lack of posts lately.  I had a "technical glitch" and was unable to get digital pictures uploaded to my computer.    I also apologize again for the Holiday Minis not hitting your mail box yet.  I hope we get them soon.

Sooooo, this is another item from the new Holiday Mini - a SU Bear Bigz Die and the SU Kooky Spooky die.   I ran a piece of Old Olive thru the Big Shot Finial Press embossing folder for the background card base.  Cast-A-Spell Designer Paper (page 161) was placed behind the pumpkin face.  The Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa and Pumpkin Pie pieces of the image were assembled and glued together.  The bear figure was mounted on dimensionals, to further enhance it's appearance.

Such fun and very quick!

BAB (Build A Bear) Beary Boy

I suspect that I need to give Beary Boy equal time.   This is the Beary Boy from the Beary Best Friends set on page 34 of the upcoming Holiday Mini.  Beary Boy  was stamped in black stazon ink and an aqua painter was used to color with Crushed Curry, Real Red ink.  The skin tone and shorts were  colored with  water color pencils.   A sentiment from the set was stamped on a separate piece of card stock, layered on red c/s and mounted below the bear.   Bear Boy was layered on Real Red card stock and then the plain side of Crushed Curry grosgrain was formed into  2 loops and attached on the left.  The sentiment and image were mounted on Basic Gray card stock and then attached to the Crushed Curry card base.

Happy Stampin'

BAB (Build A Bear) Beary Girl

From here on out, most of my posts will be items from the upcoming Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog, which begins September 1st.   SU is starting several new product lines, including Build-A-Bear!

This is the Beary Girl from the Beary Best Friends set on page 34 of the mini.  Beary Girl  was stamped in black stazon ink and colored with Cameo Coral, Certainly Celery and and Crushed Curry.  The skin tone was colored with a water color pencil.   A sentiment from the set was stamped below the bear, which was layered on Basic Black and Cameo Coral and trimmed with 5/8 inch Certainly Celery Grosgrain.   The edges of the base Certainly Celery card were also rubbed with the Certainly Celery ink pad.

You're gonna LOVE this new Holiday Mini!
